Video Editor Are you a creative Video Editor based in The Netherlands with a passion for video games? Join our dynamic Marketing Team and play a pivotal role in shaping compelling visual stories! Responsibilities As our Video Editor, you’ll craft captivating visual narratives from raw footage. This includes selecting and capturing the best clips, ensuring seamless transitions, and supporting the footage with a basic audio quality mix. You’ll maintain visual consistency through color grading, integrate animations, and elevate production value with effects. Collaboration with our creative team is key to delivering engaging video content across platforms that meet client expectations. Day-to-day duties Record and assess raw footage, and identifying key editing points Assemble and trim clips for a cohesive sequence with smooth transitions Sync audio with video, mix tracks, and add sound effects Adjust colors, contrast, and brightness for visual consistency Create and integrate animations and visual effects Reviewing and organizing raw footage to determine the best segments for inclusion in the final product Export final videos in required formats and prepare for various platforms Collaborate closely with the creative team to meet project goals Skills required Degree in the creative field or equivalent experience Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro and Final Cut Pro Knowledge of motion graphics and animation software like Adobe After Effects Understanding of color grading Familiarity with basic audio editing techniques Strong storytelling skills through visual means Ability to interpret project briefs and client requirements Eye for detail and a good sense of timing and pacing Minimum of 2 years of experience working as video editor (internships not included) Self-motivated with strong initiative and multitasking abilities Thrive in a fast-paced environment with rapidly changing priorities and multiple deadlines Affinity with video games, able to generate enthusiasm and empathy for each project We offer: Starting contract: -> Starting as soon as possible -> Employment contract – fulltime gross salary of €2.500,00 – €4.000,00 , depending on years of experience -> 7 – 12 months -> 32 – 40 hours a week Caring 10+ marketing team Video game industry insights and games Monthly Thursday afternoon drinks Annual company BBQ and Team outing Great office space in the middle of Utrecht city center Are you ready to transform raw footage into cinematic masterpieces that captivate and inspire?
