As a character artist, you will work on making the characters in the game look and move amazingly while working within the project constraints. Responsibilities Create great looking 3D playable, and non-playable, characters that fit within the artistic vision. Import and clean up humanoid character animations to make a character come to life. Check, review, and iterate on character art and animations for improvements. Manage and maintain project tasks that are assigned to you, and communicate on the developments of these tasks. Submit deliverables and changes using a version control system. Collaborate with the team and find ways to improve the production pipeline. Provide feedback to the team on how to improve the character experience for the player. What we are looking for Experience working on commercial games. Verbal and written communication skills. Character art and anatomy insights. 3D character art creation skills. Experience working with Maya. Experience with importing humanoid character animations. Experience with cleaning up humanoid character animations. Experience with previewing your work in-engine and in-game. Experience working with a version control system like Perforce. A good match working with the rest of the team.
