Character Animator

Being a company that focuses on visualisation and animation, the work of the character animator touches all aspects of our organisation. You should have a deep understanding of modeling, skinning, prototyping and rigging. You are open to constructive criticism and feedback to further increase your knowledge and skills. Knowledge and love for sports is a big plus! RESPONSIBILITIES Create (by utilising both hand key animation and motion capture data) believable, high-quality animations and participating directly to the implementation in unity Collaborate with the art team to obtain a consistent visual style for the products Work with the programming (unity) team to integrate your animations in the products while respecting technical constraints Create prototypes and mock-ups of new types of products Rainstorm and conceptualise ideas, with the ability to produce concept sketches and quick concept edits CAPABILITIES Proficient with at least one of the following: 3d / animation dcc package (such as maya, 3dmax or blender) Proficient with motionbuilder Be able to rigging/skinning with low to high polygon counts Knowledge of animation logic like node graphs, animations trees, procedural animation and similar editor technologies within unity or similar engines Knowledge of implementation of 3d assets in unity.
