We’re looking for a UI/UX designer to join us in developing our awesome unannounced new game. As a UI/UX designer, you will help create and contribute to all the UI/UX parts of our newest game. We are looking for team players who can thrive in a highly collaborative, and multi-disciplinary environment. Responsibilities Create kick-ass menus and interfaces for our games. Design, create, and implement final product user interface assets. Work together with game-designers and artists to create graphically interesting and intuitive interfaces. Quickly come up with wireframes, prototypes, mockups, and other visual designs using tools such as Adobe Photoshop, Sketch, Principle, Invision or Adobe XD. Use technical and artistic tools to make menus that are functional and visually appealing. Test menus and interfaces on players and gather feedback. Iteratively improve your work based on feedback. Combine art created by our artists with your own interface work. Requirements A diploma in interaction design, graphic design, or a game art-related programme, or equivalent. Understanding of screen layout/composition, colour, typography, visual hierarchy, and consistency. Knowledge of established menu/interface design patterns in videogames. Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop. The ability to work in a small, multi-disciplinary team and interpret ideas and feedback. Good communication skills and proficiency in the Dutch language. A passion for playing and making computer games. Pluses A minimum of 2 years of experience in menu and interface design, preferably in the game industry. Drawing/painting skills.
